Incoming Fax Management
An Incoming Fax Queue keeps faxes organized. The queue seamlessly accepts critical patient-related faxes including refill requests, new prescription orders, and prior approval response forms. Staff can search for faxes by number, comment, or sender. Incoming faxes can also be viewed based on date received.
A “preview module” allows staff to review documents. Pharmacy staff has the option to save, download, print, email, split, edit, annotate, add pages, merge, or store documents as PDF.
Inbound faxes are stored within the PrimeRx Fax Tab. Documents can be quickly linked to prescriptions, patient files, eCare plans, or clinical reports.
Outgoing Fax Management
PrimeFAX securely transmits patient refill requests, rejected transactions, and other patient-related documents to prescribers, payers, or facilities.
Each fax includes required patient and prescription information, and a cover page, along with a date/time stamp.
Secure Document Management within PrimeRx
Faxes are seamlessly transmitted to the PrimeRx operating system and appended to the appropriate patient’s account and other pharmacy records.
Documents remain safe and secure within PrimeRx, where they can be easily accessed for reporting, audits, and other purposes.
